Terminal 1 at Delhi Airport is used as a domestic terminal, served by low-cost carriers. It was originally part of Palam Airport and later became part of Indira Gandhi International Airport.
In February 2022, Terminal 1 opened a new facility, the Arrival area, featuring updated facilities.
Terminal 1 is composed of several buildings for both Arrivals and Departures: T1C and T1D.
This building handles arrival flights. Passengers will also find access to transportation, among other services.
This building includes the check-in area, security checkpoints, and access to gates.
There is an inter-terminal shuttle bus, free of charge, connecting Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 every 20 minutes. Shuttle service is operated by DIAL. Complimentary golf carts are available within Terminal 1 for passenger convenience.
Open 24 hours. Services include snacks, drinks, TV, Wi-Fi, newspapers, and magazines, among others.
